Conditions Which Generate This Code:

This event code is active when GPS corrections are not received by the truck for a defined period of time. This code can result in the machine slowing or stopping.

This code is self recoverable. If the following two conditions are met, the event code will clear and the Autonomous Mining Truck (AMT) will attempt to resume normal operations.

  • Machine position is still reliable even without corrections in the past few seconds

  • Truck has started receiving corrections

Note: Clear all other diagnostic codes prior to troubleshooting EID 1536.

When the following conditions are met:

  • Truck has been restarted

  • Only EID 1536 is still active

  • Any of EID 1252, EID 1567, EID 1568 were active prior to the restart

Continue troubleshooting EID 1252, EID 1567, and/or EID 1568 prior to beginning EID 1536 .

Note: When this event is activated repeatedly at a certain spot in the mine or is active for long periods of time, can be an indication of a wireless network problem in that area. Review this area with the network management team.

Test Step 1. MANUALLY MOVE THE TRUCK.

  1. Change the mode of the AMT to Manual Mode.

  2. Manually drive the truck to a known good location for GPS corrections.

Note: Movement of the AMT must be done by a trained and qualified individual.

  3. Change the mode of the AMT to Autonomous Run.

Results:

  • Once the AMT receives active corrections, the EID 1536 code should clear allowing for normal operations to resume - STOP

  • EID 1536 still active after movement to a new known good location for corrections. - Proceed to Test Step 2.

Test Step 2. RESTART THE SYSTEM.

  1. Key cycle the AMT.

    1. Key OFF the AMT

    2. Wait for autonomy mode lights to turn off.

    3. Key ON the AMT.
