(1) AC interface board |
The AC interface board (ACI) (1) monitors the voltages that are on the following nodes:
- System output
- System bypass
- System input
The ACI (1) also monitors the bypass currents of the system output.
Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, UENR3954, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (MMS System Cabinet)" in order to shut down the system and gain access to internal components.
Note: Always practice "Electrostatic Discharge" (ESD) prevention when handling printed circuit assemblies.
- Disconnect all connectors. Refer to Illustration 2. Verify each labeling on the connector with the location of the wire. Verify each label on each connector.
- Disconnect the ten white plastic standoffs that connect the board (1) to the left panel.
Note: The board (1) must be removed from the standoffs without bending the board (1).

- Position the board (1) in the cabinet over the ten white standoffs that are connected to the left panel.
- Push the board (1) onto all the standoffs simultaneously. Verify that all standoffs are locked in place.
- Connect the wire connectors into the correct connectors on the board (1). Check the labels on each connector for proper placement. Refer to Illustration 2.
- Calibrate the AC interface board. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, UENR3954, "System Voltage - Calibrate" and Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, UENR3954, "System Output Current - Calibrate".
