Alarm Operation
The UPS system contains internal diagnostics that automatically determine the status of the system. If the internal diagnostics detect that the system is in any status other than normal, then an error message is displayed on the control panel.
Note: If the control panel is not functioning, contact your Cat Dealer for assistance.

Error message format | |
Illustration 1 shows the format of the error message. Record the error message prior to acting to resolve the condition.
If the load is still correctly supplied with power, then the load has most probably transferred to the bypass AC source. This transfer is a static bypass. If the UPS is on-line, the load is no longer protected.
If the load is no longer supplied with power, then transfer the load manually to the maintenance bypass.
