Muffler and Mounting - Remove and Install
Removal and Installation Procedure
- Remove bolt (3) and remove strap (1).
- Replace strap (1). Ensure that the strap is perpendicular to the muffler.
- Remove bolt (4) and remove strap (2).
- Replace strap (2). Ensure that the strap is perpendicular to the muffler.
- Check straps (1) and (2) again ensuring the straps are perpendicular to the muffler.
- Tighten bolts (3) and (4) to a torque of
25 ± 3 N·m (221 ± 27 lb in) .

Note: Replace straps (1) and (2) as a pair.
Note: The replacement of straps (1) and (2) can be performed without disconnecting or removing the muffler.
