(1) Location of the Circuit Breaker "CB1"

The Circuit Breaker "CB1" is located on the lower left panel next to the fan fuses in the cabinet for the flywheel. The Circuit Breaker (1) allows the operator to disconnect the 480 VAC power that is coming from the UPS.

The breaker (1) is supplied 380 VAC to 480 VAC power from the control power in the control cabinet. The breaker (1) is rated at 10 amp.

Wire Connections for the Circuit Breaker

Removal Procedure

Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, RENR7654, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (Flywheel Cabinet)" in order to shut down the system and gain access to internal components.

  1. Disconnect the wires from the circuit breaker (1). Refer to Illustration 2.

  1. Remove the two screws that hold the rail stop to the rail.

  1. Remove the rail stop that is located on the side of the circuit breaker (1) .

  1. Remove the circuit breaker (1) by sliding the circuit breaker (1) off the rail.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the circuit breaker (1) to the rail on the lower left panel of the cabinet. Place the top side of the circuit breaker (1) over the top side of the rail and then snap the bottom side of the circuit breaker onto the rail. Refer to Illustration 2.

  1. Connect the wires to the circuit breaker. Refer to Illustration 2.

  1. Install the rail stop. Slide the rail stop over the rail and install the two screws.
