(1) Diode Bridge

The Diode Bridge (1) is located on the lower left panel in the cabinet for the Flywheel next to the Flywheel Precharge Contactors.

The Diode Bridge (1) is part of the DC Bus precharge circuit. The Diode Bridge (1) ensures one way current flow through the precharge circuit.

Diode Bridge Wire Connections

Removal Procedure

Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, RENR7654, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (Flywheel Cabinet)" in order to shut down the system and gain access to internal components.

1. Remove the four wires from the diode bridge (1). Use a hex key to remove the bolts.

2. Remove the two screws that hold the diode bridge (1) to the panel in the cabinet.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the bridge (1) on the lower left panel of the cabinet.

2. Install the bridge (1) with the two screws.

3. Connect the four wires to the bridge (1). Refer to Illustration 2.

4. Tighten the hex bolts.
