Installation Procedure

1. Install Tooling (A) on the radiator top tank assembly. Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains, as shown.

2. Use the hoist to install radiator assembly (12), as shown. The weight of the radiator assembly is 335 kg (740 lb).

3. Install bolts (11) on both sides of the machine.

4. Connect radiator hose (10) to the radiator top tank assembly.

5. Connect two tube assemblies (9) and radiator hose (8) to the radiator bottom tank assembly.

6. Connect hose assemblies (7) to the air conditioner condenser.

7. Connect hydraulic hose assemblies (6) to the hydraulic oil cooler.

8. Evacuate the air conditioner system. Charge the air conditioner system. The correct charge is 2 kg (4.4 lb). Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.

9. Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7018 for the correct procedure.

10. Check the transmission oil level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7018 for the correct procedure.

11. Close the engine hood.

12. Connect hose assemblies (5), (4), and (3) .

13. Install grill assembly (2) and bolts (1) .

End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
