Assembly Procedure

Note: Replace all O-ring seals and gaskets. Apply a light film of SAE 10 oil to all components before assembly.

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

1. Install retainer ring (35) , seal (34) , backup ring (33) and isolation plate (32) .

2. Install plate (31) .

10. Install eight socket head bolts (20) and the washers. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 100 ± 15 N·m (74 ± 11 lb ft).

12. Install four nuts (18) and the washers. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 115 ± 7 N·m (85± 5 lb ft).

19. Install eight bolts (8) . Tighten the bolts to a torque of 228 ± 10 N·m (168 ± 7 lb ft).
