NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4812" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The clutch brake lining on certain D4E DD, D4E SR, D4E SA, D5B DD, D6D DD, D6D SA, and D6D SR Tractors can result in excessive drum wear and eventually result in little or no braking action for the flywheel clutch.

Action Required
Remove the 9W0472 Shoe Assembly from the flywheel clutch group. Remove the existing 6Y2197 Lining from the 9W0472 Shoe Assembly and replace it with a new 8E5828 Lining.
Check the flywheel clutch brake for proper adjustment at least every 500 Hours or 3 Months.
