NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4615" as Part Number, "7755" as Group Number, and "96" as Description Code.
NOTE: Although this Program is to be administered as described above on the Affected Product, parts should be removed from parts stock as soon as possible.

The pulse deflectors on certain Challenger 65 Tractors, 235 Excavators, 621S Scrapers, and 637E Scrapers may fail and cause the fuel injection nozzles to become plugged.

Action Required
Parts Stock
Remove all 8N5784 Deflectors from parts stock that have a change level of 4 or earlier.
Affected Product Before Failure
Remove the fuel pump side cover. Replace the existing 8N5784 pulse deflector with a new pulse deflector of the same part number that was made to change level 5.
After Failure
Remove the fuel pump side cover. Replace the failed 8N5784 pulse deflector with a new pulse deflector of the same part number that was made to change level 5. Flush the housing with clean fuel before installing the side cover.
Remove fuel injection nozzles and check for the proper spray pattern and VOP. If the fuel injection nozzles are damaged, replace as necessary.
