This Special Instruction is for the installation of the 428-8279 Pilot Lines Gp . If you need more information about the installation of the Medium Pressure Wiring on your machine, consult your Cat dealer.

Prevent the machine from movement. Park the machine on a level surface.
Attach a "Do Not Operate" warning tag or a similar warning tag to the start switch before you service the equipment. These warning tags (Special Instruction, SEHS7332) are available from your Caterpillar dealer.

- Assemble the components of valve group (A).

- Install valve assembly (A) onto the frame.

- Connect hose (4) from port "P" on valve assembly (A) and port "PSA2" of the pilot manifold.
- Connect hose (3) to port "B1" of valve assembly (A) .
- Connect hose (5) to port "B2" of valve assembly (A) .
- Connect the other end of hose (5) to port "Pb1" of the solenoid valve.
