Driver Safety System (DSS) mining speaker | |
Refer to the following procedure if a fault is detected for the Driver Safety System (DSS) mining speaker:
- Check the casing of the speaker for signs of physical damage.
- Ensure that the speaker cables are not pinched or damaged.
- Check the connection to the DSS mining control. Ensure that all cables are connected properly.
- Log in to the IVS web interface and select "Configuration", "DSS", "Global Audio", and ensure that the volume is set to an appropriate level.
Note: Also check "Configuration", "DSS", "Events", and ensure that the volume is set to an appropriate level for every event type.
- Replace the speaker if the problem persists.
