Modulating Valve (Transmission Hydraulic Control) - Remove and Install
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Illustration 2 g02857503 - Disconnect harness assembly (4). Remove bolts (6) and modulating valve (5).

Illustration 3 g02857504 - Remove nut (7), washer (8), and coil assembly (9).
- Remove adapter (10) and O-ring seal (11).
- Install modulating valve (5) in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten adapter (10) to a torque of
14 ± 4 N·m (124 ± 35 lb in) . - Tighten nut (7) to a torque of
13 ± 2 N·m (115 ± 18 lb in) . - Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of
30 ± 4 N·m (22 ± 3 lb ft) .
- Tighten adapter (10) to a torque of
