New Engine Software is Available for Certain 740B and 740B Ejector Articulated Trucks {1920}

The new engine software that is available reduces exhaust system back pressure during engine braking. The reduction in exhaust back pressure helps prevent NOx reduction system (NRS) cooler failure.
The new software part number is 446-6675 Engine Ratings Electronic Software Gp. The new software is adaptable back to first production of the engine serial numbers listed at the beginning of the article.
