- Remove bolts (1) . Remove cover (2) .

- Attach Tooling (A) in order to remove axle shaft (5) . The weight of the Tooling (A) and axle shaft (5) is approximately 268 kg (590 lb).

- Reposition the lifting device and continue to remove axle shaft (5) .

Installation Procedure
- Install axle shaft (5) in the reverse order of removal.
- Apply Tooling (B) onto both ends of axle shaft (5) .
