  1. Remove bolts (1) . Remove cover (2) .

  1. Remove ring (3) . Remove gear (4) .

  1. Attach Tooling (A) in order to remove axle shaft (5) . The weight of the Tooling (A) and axle shaft (5) is approximately 268 kg (590 lb).

  1. Reposition the lifting device and continue to remove axle shaft (5) .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install axle shaft (5) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Apply Tooling (B) onto both ends of axle shaft (5) .
