Improved Magnetic Switch Is Now Used For Electric Motors On Certain Articulated Trucks {4324, 5927, 7499}

Usage:

725 B1L
Articulated Truck:
725 (S/N: B1L1-UP)
730 (S/N: B1M1-UP)
730 EJECTOR (S/N: B1W1-UP)
735 (S/N: WWC1-UP; B1N1-UP)
740 (S/N: B1P1-UP; DTX1-UP)
740 EJECTOR (S/N: B1R1-UP)

Description of Change: The magnetic switch group for the electric motor has improved roll over edge.

(1) Date Code

(2) Improved roll-over edge

The 179-0006 Magnetic Switch Gp used for the 117-3915 Electric Motor has improved design. The 117-3915 Electric Motor when replaced should be checked for the date code stamped on the 179-0006 Magnetic Switch Gp. If the date code on the magnetic switch group is earlier than Jan 2010, then choose a magnetic switch group that has the date code as either Jan 2010 or later than Jan 2010 as a replacement for the existing magnetic switch group.

The improved magnetic switch group is adaptable to and is effective in production for the machines that are listed in the Table 1.
