Problem
On B3 Skid Steer Loaders and Multi Terrain Loaders, trapped pressure held in the auxiliary circuit does not release when performing the release function using the auxiliary hydraulic pressure release switch as described in the operation section of the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
Solution
To release trapped pressure in the auxiliary hydraulic circuit, perform the following procedure.
- Fasten the seat belt. Lower the armrest.
- Move the engine start switch to the ON position.
- Release the parking brake.
- Activate the controls for the auxiliary function. Activate the controls several times in order to release the pressure. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Auxiliary Hydraulic Controls", for information regarding the controls.
- Move the engine start switch to the OFF position.
If the pressure is not released, the accumulator is not charged. You can recharge the accumulator by running the engine or cranking the engine for 15 seconds.
Note: The operator must remain in the seat with the armrests in the LOWERED position in order for the control to function.
