The PL300 Maintenance Mode is used to prevent diagnostic and event messages from being reported when performing maintenance on the machine to insure proper long term operation of the system.The maintenance mode should automatically disengage if the maintenance mode has been enabled for 12 calendar hours.

Machines put in maintenance mode are having an issue with the auto-disable. The auto-disable feature is failing to take the PL300 out of maintenance mode after the duration of 12 calendar hours. This results in no events, diagnostics, fuel, or other updates being reported by the PL300.

Solution

This issue will be resolved in the next software release. Until the software is released, please ensure maintenance mode is disengaged prior to leaving the machine.
