Start By:

  1. Remove the piston pump.

  1. Remove bolts (1) and adapter (2) from the head assembly.

  1. Remove tubes (3) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (3) from adapter (2) .

  1. Remove coupling assembly (5) and O-ring seal (6) .

    Note: Mark the orientation for installation purposes.

  1. Remove housing assembly (7) .

  1. Remove plate (8), retainers (9), and O-ring seal (10) .

  1. Remove bolts (11) and head (12) .

  1. Remove O-ring seals (13) and port plate (14). Remove locating pins (15) and bearing (16) .

  1. Remove plug (17), relief valve assembly (18), and spring (19) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (20) and backup ring (21) from plug (17) .

  1. Repeat Steps 9 and 10 for the opposite side.

  1. Remove plug (22) and the O-ring seal from head assembly (6) .

  1. Remove adapter (31) and the O-ring seal from head assembly (6) .

  1. Remove the following items from the head assembly: spring collar (30), spring (29), spring collar (28), control piston (27), piston (26), valve bushing (25), valve piston (24), poppet seat (23) and the O-ring seal.

  1. Remove bolts (32) and valve group (33) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (37) from plug (36) .

  1. Remove caps (42) and (44). Remove the O-ring seals and coil assemblies (41) and (43) .

  1. Remove cartridge assemblies (46) and (47). Remove spool assembly (45) .

  1. Remove pistons (50) and remove retainer plate (51) from the rotating group. Remove retainer (52) from the rotating group.

  1. Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press in order to apply slight compression to the spring. Remove retaining ring (53) .

  1. Remove the following items from barrel assembly (56) : retaining ring (53), spring (54), washer (55) and pins (57) .

  1. Remove block (59) and remove pin (60) from swashplate assembly (58). Remove bearing (61). Remove pin (63) and remove bearing (62) from swashplate assembly (58) .

  1. Use Tooling (B) in order to remove lip seal (66) .

  1. Remove nut (74) and remove piston assembly (73) from cover (72) .

  1. Remove O-ring seal (75) (not shown) from cover (72) .

  1. Use a suitable press in order to remove retaining ring (76) .
