"自动减速控制(ARC)"功能由制动器 ECM 控制。 "ARC" 系统的功能使操作员可以在长下坡时保持卡车的恒定速度。 "ARC" 还能在长下坡时保持发动机的恒定转速。 ARC 还在超速条件下为发动机提供保护。 ARC 系统向发动机 ECM 发送接合行车制动器的信号。

操作员可选功能

机器下坡时,操作员可以选择机器"自动减速控制(ARC)"的控制点。 产能得到最大化,因为发动机的控制速度可设为低于高怠速速度的值。

"ARC ON/OFF(通/断)"开关必须在 ON(接通)位置,使机器操作员可以设定机器的减速速度。

操作员使用 "SET/ACCEL, DECEL(设定/加速、减速)"开关实现此功能。 此摇臂开关的上部具备 "SET/ACCEL(设定/加速)"功能。 摇臂开关的下部具备 "DECEL(减速)"功能。

操作员通过压下摇臂开关的 "SET/ACCEL(设定/加速)"(顶部)部分来设定减速器控制的控制点。 现在,限速器速度设为机器速度的相应 EOS。 操作员请求的档位(最高行驶档位限制)设为按下此开关时变速箱所处的档位。

注: 仅当未踩下油门踏板时可以设定机器的减速速度。

减速器控制机器速度加速/减速功能

一旦机器的有效减速器控制速度成功设定后,操作员即可使用 "SET/ACCEL/DECEL(设定/加速/减速)"摇臂开关提升或降下减速器控制机器速度。 减速器控制机器速度只能调整到与发动机最大减速速度相应的机器速度。 发动机转速必须高于档位设置的相应降档制动点。

通信链路

要成功设定速度限制,变速箱 ECM 和制动器 ECM 之间必须协作。 变速箱 ECM 将执行减速控制功能相关的所有逻辑。 变速箱 ECM 会向制动器 ECM 提供 ARC 发动机转速的控制点和机器速度的减速器点。 变速箱的实际档位必须大于 2F,以避免"换档杆"在 D 位置时 "Advisor" 的标题都错误报告档位低于 3 的情况。 现在,制动器 ECM 会设定 ARC 的新控制点,并通知 "Advisor" 显示机器的适当速度限制。
