Fuel System Primary Filter/Water Separator - Drain

Bowl (1) should be monitored weekly for signs of water. If water is present, drain the water from the bowl.
- Open drain valve (3). The drain valve is a self-ventilated drain valve. Catch the draining water in a suitable container. Dispose of the water properly.
- Close drain valve (3).

The water separator is under suction during normal engine operation. Ensure that the drain valve is tightened securely to help prevent air from entering the fuel system. |
