注: 曲轴后油封和曲轴后油封壳体是作为一个整体组件制造的。 曲轴后油封组件通过十个调整螺钉紧固在缸体上。
注: 下列步骤适用于曲轴后油封是替换组件时的情况。
注: 曲轴后油封经过了润滑。 安装前，不需要润滑油封或曲轴法兰。
注: 新壳体组件随附有安装套管 (2) 。 安装曲轴法兰的壳体组件时，必须将安装套管安置到位，防止组装期间损坏曲轴后油封。

- 确保曲轴法兰 (1) 保持清洁、干燥，并且没有金属毛边。 确保缸体表面和曲轴箱桥接件清洁、干燥。
- 从新曲轴后油封组件 (3) 上撕掉包装材料。 确保将塑料衬套 (2) 端正地安装在曲轴后油封组件 (3) 的密封范围内。 提供塑料衬套 (2) 是为了在把油封唇推过曲轴法兰 (1) 时保护油封唇。

- 将曲轴后油封组件 (3) 放在曲轴法兰 (1) 上方，并将塑料衬套 (2) 连接到曲轴法兰上。

典型实例 | |
- 确保塑料衬套 (2) 连接到曲轴法兰 (1) 上。 均匀推动曲轴后油封组件 (3) ，将组件平滑地推到曲轴法兰 (1) 上，直到组件抵住缸体。 在此过程中，将迫使塑料衬套 (2) 从曲轴后油封组件 (3) 上脱离。 废弃塑料衬套 (2) 。
- 转动曲轴后油封组件 (3) ，将组件中的调整螺钉孔与缸体后表面的调整螺钉孔对准。
- 安装调整螺钉 (5) ，将壳体组件 (3) 定位在缸体上。 不要拧紧螺栓。
- 将工具 (A) 置于壳体组件 (2) 上。 这可以将壳体组件对中在曲轴法兰 (3) 上。
- 按数字次序拧紧调整螺钉 (1) 至扭矩为 22 N·m (16 lb ft)。 此时不要拧紧调整螺钉 (X) 。
