Tire Inflation - Check

Usage:

Personal injury or death could result with improper tire inflation techniques.

Use a self-attaching inflation chuck and stand behind the tread when inflating a tire.

NOTICE

Set the tire inflation equipment regulator at no more than 140 kPa (20 psi) over the recommended tire pressure.

Note: Make sure that the tire valve is positioned at the top of the tire when you check the tire pressure.

Remove the protective cap that is on the tire inflation valve.

Measure the tire pressure on each tire. Consult your Caterpillar dealer for the correct load rating and for the correct operating pressures.

Inflate the tires, if necessary.

Reference: Refer to the "Tire Inflation Information" section of the Operation and Maintenance Manual for more information.

Install the protective cap that is on the tire inflation valve.
