1. Inspect all the O-ring seals. If necessary, replace any O-ring seals. Thoroughly clean all the parts.

2. Install the switch and the sending unit in relief valve (7) .

3. Use Tool (A) to install the stop on the opposite side of the relief valve. Install the O-ring seal and cover (6) .

4. Install O-ring seal (2), spring (3), washers (4), and valve spool (5) on relief valve (7) .

5. Install cover (1) .

End By: Install the torque converter outlet relief valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Converter Outlet Relief Valve - Install" for the correct procedure.
