Usage:
This LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE CHART lists those items commonly ordered on this engine which require servicing.
The time intervals are based on the numbers showing on the engine's service meter. Use the daily readings of the Service Meter to determine maintenance intervals. For those areas which require periodic maintenance which cannot be given a definite service hour, see the column "WHEN TO SERVICE".
Perform required maintenance at multiples of each unit. "EVERY 10" means perform that maintenance at 10, 20, 30, etc., service meter units. Similarly, "EVERY 50" means perform that service at 50, 100, 150, etc., service meter units. For items requiring service intervals of 125 through 1000 service meter units, service each item at the time indicated. After each 1000 units, repeat the sequence at the same interval. "EVERY 2000" means to service the item every 2,000, 4,000, 6,000, etc., hours, or once each 12 months.
For items marked (*) see "KEY TO FUELS, LUBRICANTS AND WATER" on Page C-3 of this chart. "Page" refers to the page number in the LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES where the service procedure is detailed for this item.
