This troubleshooting guide will be an aid to the serviceman in finding the cause of 1100 Series Engine problems.

Be sure to get a good description of the problem. The operator and/or the person who owns the truck can most likely give you a good description of the problem. What they tell you about the problem can save you time and make the repair job faster and easier.

The probable cause(s) of the problem(s) are given in the charts in the order they most commonly take place. Check the probable causes in the order that they are given.

When troubleshooting, use the section on recommended procedure which follows each chart to check and make the necessary corrections for each probable cause.
