PROBLEM
The Left and Right side upper front suspension mounting area of the 245-4680 Frame on certain 775F Off-Highway Trucks can fail due to high stresses in the welds. These welds are located at the upper mount connection to the fore/aft beam and the upper front suspension plate. If the existing structure cracks, these cracks can propagate into the fore/aft beam causing additional damage. If the weld failure is not corrected damage to the main beam may occur. This will result in a more extensive repair. |
