Description of Change: Improved alternator groups are now available which use a more robust wire insulation for the field coil.
Adaptable To: The improved 105-2811, 105-2812, 105-2813, 105-2814, and 3E-7772 Alternator Groups are manufactured 1 February 1998 and later. The date code format for the alternator groups is MMYDD, where MM=number of the month (1-12), Y=year (R-1996, S-1997, and T-1998), and DD=day of the month (1-31). For example, 2T1 describes the alternator group produced on the 1st of February, 1998.
