Usage:
1. Disconnect sensing line (1) for the fuel ratio control.
2. Move the governor control lever to the "OFF" position.
3. Remove two bolts (2). Pull out and down on the fuel ratio control to remove it from the governor.
Install Fuel Ratio Control (If So Equipped)
1. Put the fuel ratio control in position on the fuel injection pump housing. Make sure that plunger is engaged with the groove (slot) in the rack stop collar on the governor. Install the two bolts that hold the fuel ratio control to the fuel injection pump housing.
2. Connect the sensing line to the fuel ratio control.
3. Make an adjustment to the fuel ratio control. See FUEL RATIO CONTROL SETTING in TESTING AND ADJUSTING.
Disassemble Fuel Ratio Control (If So Equipped)
start by:
a) remove fuel ratio control
1. Remove two bolts and make a separation between the cover (4) and housing (1).
2. Remove the spring (3) and washer (2).
3. Remove the diaphragm and bolt assembly (6) from the housing. Remove spring (5).
4. Remove the pin from the bolt. Turn the bolt out of the retainer and remove the diaphragm (7).
Assemble Fuel Ratio Control (If So Equipped)
1. Put the diaphragm (3) on the retainer (4).
2. Install the bolt (5) into the retainer and install the pin (1) in the bolt.
3. Put the diaphragm assembly and two springs. Install the cover (2) and two bolts.

NOTE: Operations are the same for both four and six cylinder fuel injection pump housing and governor.
