Usage:
start by:
a) separation of governor from fuel injection pump housing
1. Remove shaft (2) from carrier (3).
2. Remove dowel (1) from shaft (2).
3. Remove weights (4) from carrier (3) by removal of dowels (5).
4. Remove ring (10) from thrust collar (6).
5. Remove a race (9), a bearing (8), and a race (7) from thrust collar (6).
6. Remove the two bolts (12) that hold lever (14) to shaft (13). Slide shaft (13) out of the governor housing and remove lever (14) and washers (11) between the lever and the housing.
7. Remove seal (15) and bushing from the governor housing.
Assemble Governor
1. Use tooling (A) to install the bushing and seal in the governor housing with the lip of the seal toward the inside of the housing.
2. Put lever (2) in position in the governor housing with a washer (1) between lever (2) and the housing at each side.
3. Slide shaft (3) into position and install the two bolts that hold lever (2) to shaft (3).
4. Install a race (5), a bearing (6), a race (7), and a ring (8) on thrust collar (4).
5. Install weights (12) on carrier (11) with dowels (13).
6. Install dowel (9) in shaft (10).
7. Install shaft (10) in carrier (11).

a) connection of governor to fuel injection pump housing.
