start by:

a) remove fuel priming pump

1. Put pins (1) in and pull rod out of barrel. Remove the pins and springs.

2. Remove pin from the handle and remove the handle, cap (2) and spring (3). Remove the seal from cap. Remove seal and ring from rod.

Assemble Fuel Priming Pump

1. Install seal and ring on rod.

2. Install seal on cap. Install spring, cap and handle on rod. Install pin in handle.

3. Put SAE 10 engine oil in the bore of the barrel.

4. Install tool (A) on the plunger and install the plunger in barrel. Remove tool (A).

5. Install springs and pins in cap and install cap in barrel.
