Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Drain the coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Illustration 1 g03859336 - Disconnect harness assembly (2).
- Remove aftercooler coolant temperature sensor (1).
- Install aftercooler coolant temperature sensor (1) in the reverse order of removal.
- Lubricate the bore of aftercooler coolant temperature sensor (1) with the fluid that is being sealed.
- Tighten aftercooler coolant temperature sensor (1) to a torque of
20 ± 3 N·m (177 ± 27 lb in) .
