Turbocharger Inlet Temperature Sensor - Remove and Install

Usage:

XQC1200 N1G

Removal Procedure

Note: This procedure applies to both turbocharger inlet temperature sensors.

  1. Isolate the electric power generation set. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Generator Isolating for Maintenance" for the correct procedure.

  2. Disconnect harness (1) and remove turbocharger inlet temperature sensor (2).

  3. Remove the O-ring seal from the turbocharger inlet temperature sensor.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install turbocharger inlet temperature sensor (2) in the reverse order of removal.

    1. Tighten turbocharger inlet temperature sensor (2) to a torque of 20 ± 3 N·m (177 ± 27 lb in).
