New Helical Gears are Used on Certain 3500 Engines {1204}

- 3512C (S/N: MLM1-UP)
- 3516B (S/N: TRE1-UP)
Description of Change: The new helical gears are machined with a ground tooth profile. The gear load is distributed across the ground profile making the gears more robust.
Adaptable To: The new gears are adaptable back to first production of the engines listed above. Refer to the parts listed in Table 1.
The new helical gears are effective with MLM00229.
