Note: Ensure that the water temperature regulator is seated correctly in the housing.

Note: Ensure that the jiggle pin (1) on the water temperature regulator is correctly positioned. Refer to illustrations 3 and 4.

(1) For C1.5 and C2.2 engines, tighten the two setscrews for the water temperature regulator housing to the following torque. ... 14 N·m (10 lb ft)
