注: 对于在 1800 rpm 下运行的新 G3304 发动机,曲轴箱窜气的典型范围大约在 30 到 45 LPM (1 到 1.5 CFM)。 对于在 1800 rpm 下运行的新 G3306 发动机,曲轴箱窜气的典型范围大约在 60 到 120 LPM (2 到 4 CFM)。

约 250 工作小时后,测量发动机曲轴箱窜气。 记录数据作为基准。 连续定期测量窜气量。 将记录的数据与新的数据相比较可提供有关发动机状况的信息。

注: 曲轴箱窜气是帮助确定整体大修时间间隔的三个因素之一。 请参阅操作和保养手册以了解此发动机的保养间隔。

新发动机运行一段短时间后,随着活塞环的磨合落座,会使窜气降低。 窜气将随着活塞环和缸套出现磨损而逐渐增加: 更多烟气通过曲轴箱呼吸器排出。 曲轴箱呼吸器会更快出现堵塞。 曲轴箱压力过大也可能导致发动机机油在密封垫和密封处渗漏。

一台旧发动机的窜气量可能超过新发动机窜气量的二倍或更多。

注: 活塞环故障会使发动机机油迅速退化。 有关活塞环状况的信息可从窜气量测量和发动机机油分析中获得。

窜气突然增加可能表示活塞环断裂。 这种状况会导致发动机运转不平稳。 其他窜气的潜在根源有以下状况:

  • 气门导管磨损

  • 涡轮增压器密封渗漏

翻新发动机可能由于下列因素而窜气量较高:

  • 活塞环尚未正确磨合落座。

  • 磨损零件如气门导管未更换。

通过保持记录窜气量,可以注意到窜气量的逐渐增加,直到窜气量达到过量。
