Installation Procedure

1. Position the gasket and turbocharger (1) on the engine.

2. Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (6).

3. Install bolts (6) and tighten to a torque of 55 ± 9 N·m (41 ± 7 lb ft).

4. Install elbow (4), if necessary. Tighten clamp (3) to a torque of 9.5 ± 1.0 N·m (85 ± 9 lb in). Lightly tap around the diameter of the clamp. Tighten clamp (3) again to a torque of 9.5 ± 1.0 N·m (85 ± 9 lb in).

5. Connect tube assemblies (2) and (5).

6. Repeat the procedure on the other side.
