Relief Valve (Main) - Disassemble

Usage:

14L B94

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the relief valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Relief Valve - Remove".


NOTICE

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.

Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.


Note: Inspect the O-ring seals. Replace the O-ring seals that are worn or damaged.

  1. Remove test port (1). Remove O-ring seal (2).

  2. Remove bolts (3). Remove cover (4).

  3. Remove O-ring seal (5).

    Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  4. Remove bolts (6). Remove cover (7) and screw (8) from body (9).

    Note: Measure the adjustment of screw (8) for assembly purposes.

  5. Remove O-ring seal (10).

  6. Remove piston (11). Remove spring (12).

  7. Remove spool (13). Remove slug (14).

  8. Remove retaining ring (18). Remove retainer (17). Remove spring (16). Remove ball (15).

  9. Remove plug (19). Remove O-ring seal (20). Remove plug (21). Remove O-ring seal (22).
