Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the machine. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |

Note: Perform this procedure on a smooth horizontal surface for the most accurate reading.
- Allow the engine to run for a period of two minutes at LOW IDLE position with the transmission in the Park position.
- Ensure that the oil level is between the ADD and FULL marks of dipstick (1) .
- If necessary, add transmission oil.
Note: The location and the type of transmission oil filler cap will vary depending on the machine.
- Remove transmission oil filler cap.
- Add the correct type of transmission oil.

- Clean transmission oil filler cap. Install transmission oil filler cap.
- Stop the engine.
- Visually inspect the transmission for leaks. Check for leaks under the transmission and around the drain plug.
