Apply 4C-9612 Silicone Sealant to the threads of the fittings prior to assembly.
(1) Tighten the fitting to the following torque. ... 10 N·m (89 lb in)
(2) Tighten the nut to the following torque. ... 22 N·m (16 lb ft)
Note: Some engines may not be equipped with an aftercooler (3). Refer to Illustration 2.
