NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4811" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The bolt holding the transmission output yoke on the parking brake side of certain 525 Skidders can loosen and cause oil leakage and/or drive shaft damage. A thicker, hardened retainer and longer bolt can be installed to prevent bolt loosening.

Rework Procedure
1. REFER TO THE SERVICE MANUAL AS NECESSARY.
2. DISCONNECT REAR DRIVE SHAFT AT THE TRANSMISSION OUTPUT YOKE (PARKING BRAKE SIDE).
3. REMOVE CENTER BOLT (6V5659) FROM THE OUTPUT YOKE AND THE 4S5824 RETAINER ALSO REMOVE THE 2H3088 SEAL THAT IS UNDER THE RETAINER.
4. INSTALL A NEW 2H3088 SEAL, 169-6538 RETAINER AND 8T0372 BOLT. TIGHTEN THE BOLT TO A TORQUE OF 120±20 N·M (90±15 LB.FT.)
5. INSTALL THE DRIVE SHAFT ON THE OUTPUT YOKE. TIGHTEN THE BOLTS TO A TORQUE OF 160±25 N·M (120±15 LB.FT.).
6. CHECK THE MACHINE FOR PROPER OPERATION.
