Modulated Joystick ("Remote Switch")

Both the standard joystick and the modulated joystick will function, but the modulated joystick offers additional functionality for a Cat Grade Control user. With a standard joystick installed, the user may receive the following error related to the modulated joysticks:

• "The modulated joystick is enabled + Standard joystick is installed"

Troubleshooting

Perform the following procedure to troubleshoot the Cat Grade Control remote switch (modulated joystick):

1. Check machine specification.

   Note: The modulation joystick is optional. The user must select the modulated joystick. Cat Grade Control labels the modulation joystick "Remote Switch".

2. If the standard joystick is applied, change the "CGC Setting" configuration:

3. If the modulated joystick is applied, change the joystick from standard to the modulated joystick. Then, check the "Remote Switch" configuration.
