PROBLEM
Under some circumstances, certain 320D 2 Excavators can be hard to start when at normal operating temperature. When this problem occurs the machine displays the symptom of hard to start only when attempting to restart the engine 5 to 30 minutes after engine shut down. Cold starting and general performance are not affected. |

Before completing this rework, review the safety actions in the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the Excavator. Remove the 398-1507 Injectors. For detailed instructions on removing the injectors refer to Disassembly and Assembly, UENR0674, "Fuel Injection Lines - Remove" and "Fuel Injector - Remove". Install the new 454-5091 Injectors. For detailed instructions on installing the injectors refer to Disassembly and Assembly, UENR0674, "Fuel Injector - Install" and "Fuel Injection Lines - Install". |
