(1) Apply 230-6262 Sealant to the joint face of the seal carrier. Spread the liquid gasket uniformly on the joint face. The seal carrier must be assembled and tightened to the cylinder block within ten minutes.
(2) Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the eight bolts.
