Operator Controls (Vibratory System)

(1) Propulsion lever
(2) Water spray control switch
(3) Vibratory control switch

Vibratory control switch (3) is located on top of propulsion lever (1). There are two control switches on the propulsion lever. The switch on the right is the vibratory control switch. The switch on the left side is water spray control switch (2). The vibratory control switch is a push-button switch. The switch contacts are momentary. The vibratory control switch serves as the master switch for the vibratory system.

Propulsion lever (1) communicates with the machine ECM through the CAN. Each time the operator presses vibratory control switch (2) an input signal is sent to the machine ECM. The machine ECM toggles the status of the vibratory system between off and on with each input signal. When the engine start switch is first moved to the ON position, the status of the vibratory system defaults to off.
