Turbocharger Heat Shield

Usage:

Remove Turbocharger Heat Shield

1. Drain the jacket water cooling system.

2. Disconnect the two water outlet lines (1) from top of heat shield.

3. Remove the heat shield-to-exhaust pipe mounting bolts (2).

4. Remove the air cleaner housing support braces mounting bolts (3), and swing braces away from heat shield.

5. Disconnect the two heat shield water inlet lines (4) and (5).

6. Remove the turbocharger heat shield - weight 40 lbs. (18 kg).

Install Turbocharger Heat Shield

1. Position the heat shield on engine, and install the four mounting bolts.

2. Position the air cleaner housing support braces, and install mounting bolts.

3. Connect the two water outlet lines to top of heat shield.

4. Connect the two water inlet lines to bottom of heat shield.

5. Fill the jacket water cooling system.
