Charge filter (1) is located under the operator platform, on the right side of the machine.
Charge oil from the fan hydraulic system flows through charge filter (1). This oil is directed from the filter to the following locations:
- Vibratory pump
- Propel pump
- Machine valve
The housing of the charge filter contains a bypass valve. If the pressure differential across the filter is greater than 280 kPa (41 psi), charge bypass switch (3) closes. When this situation happens, the machine ECM number one logs a level 2 fault and flashes an amber light on the operator display in order to alert the operator of a clogged filter. If the pressure differential across the filter is greater than 350 kPa (51 psi), the bypass valve opens. When the bypass valve opens, charge oil flows directly to the pumps and shift valve.
S·O·S tap (2) provides a means of obtaining oil samples upstream of the charge filter.

Front of Machine (4) Cooling package |
Cooling package (4) is located at the front of the machine. The hydraulic oil cooler is contained within the cooling package.
The return manifold (not shown) combines the case drain oil from the propel pump, vibratory pump, the vibratory motors, and the propel motors. Oil from the return manifold is directed into the inlet port of the hydraulic oil cooler. The outlet port of the hydraulic oil cooler is connected to the hydraulic tank.

Rear of Machine (5) Rear back-up alarm |
Rear back-up alarm (5) is located at the rear of the machine, behind the water tank.
The engine ECM controls the signal to the rear back-up alarm (5). The machine ECM number one sends a back-up alarm request to the engine ECM through the CAN lines when the propel lever is in the reverse range.
Note: The front back-up alarm (not shown) is identical and located on the front of the machine. When the operator station is facing the rear of the machine, the front back-up alarm is activated when the propel lever is in the reverse range.

Operator Seat (6) Seat position switch "2" (7) Seat position switch "1" |
The optional seat position switches are located at the base of the operator seat. A removable panel provides access to these components. The seat position switches are proximity switches.
The machine ECM number one monitors the state of seat position switch "2" (6) and seat position switch "1" (7) in order to determine the position of the operator seat.
When seat position switch "1" (7) is closed and seat position switch "2" (6) is open, the machine ECM number one determines that the operator seat is facing forward. When seat position switch "1" is open and seat position switch "2" is closed, the machine ECM number one determines that the operator seat is facing rearward.
When both seat position switches are closed, the machine ECM number one determines that the operator seat is in a transitional position. When this situation happens, the propel and vibratory systems are temporarily disabled until one of the seat position switches is open.
When both seat position switches are open, the machine ECM number one logs a level 3 fault and disables the propel, steering, and vibratory systems.

Operator Seat (8) Back up alarm relay |
Back up alarm relay (8) is located in the fuse and relay bank on the left side of the machine. The door on the left side of the machine provides access to this component.
Back up alarm relay (8) controls the power supply to the 360 reverse relay. When the propel lever is moved to the reverse range, the engine ECM energizes the coil of this relay. When the relay is energized, power transfers to the gate of the 360 reverse relay.

Left Side of Machine (9) 360-reverse relay |
360 reverse relay (9) is located in the relay bank on the left side of the machine. The door on the left side of the machine provides access to this component.
360 reverse relay (9) determines which back up alarm will be activated if back-up alarm relay (8) is energized. The machine ECM number one determines which direction the operator seat is facing and sends a control signal to the 360 reverse relay. When the 360 reverse relay is energized, the front back-up alarm is operable. When the 360 reverse relay is not energized, the rear back-up alarm is operable.

Under Operator Platform on Right Side of Machine (10) Return manifold |
Return manifold (10) is located under the pump stack, on the right side of the machine. The ports of the manifold are marked for identification. Port "B" of the return manifold is connected to the oil cooler.
The return manifold receives return oil from the following hydraulic components:
- Vibratory pump case drain port "A"
- Rear propel motor case drain and rear vibratory motor case drain port "C"
- Front vibratory motor case drain port "D"
- Front propel motor case drain port "E"
