P-529 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor
Usage:
System Operation
The ECM system monitors engine oil pressure with a sensor located on the block at the front of the engine on the right side. The engine oil pressure sensor is supplied with electrical power by the 5 volt reference voltage from the ECM.
The engine oil pressure sensor can measure engine oil pressure from 0 kPa (0 psi) to 600 kPa (87 psi). Any pressure greater than 600 kPa is displayed as 600 kPa.
