(1) As required, use the following shim in order to center the scrapers between the drum pads.

166-7177 Shim

Quantity ... 3

Thickness of one shim ... 1.5 mm (0.06 inch)

Note: Position the corner chamfer side of the nut to the mating surface of joint when the scraper is assembled.

(2) Torque for 36 bolts ... 530 ± 70 N·m (390 ± 50 lb ft)

(3) The allowable clearance between the scraper and the drum ... 25 ± 5 mm (1.0 ± 0.2 inch)
