Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the piston pump for the brake system and the hydraulic fan. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Brake, Hydraulic Fan) - Remove".

Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, all hoses and all tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.

1. Remove tube assembly (1).

2. Disconnect hose assembly (2).

3. Remove tube assembly (3). Disconnect tube assembly (4). Repeat for the hose assembly (not shown) that is located below hose assembly (4).

4. Disconnect hose assembly (5).

5. Attach a suitable lifting device to piston pump (6). The weight of piston pump (6) is approximately 120 kg (265 lb). Remove bolts (7) and piston pump (6).
